Why did the West let Albanian Christians be trampled on by the Albanian state and Muslims?

Albanian Christians have the same right as Muslim Albanians, atheist Albanians, etc.

Religion has never been an issue in the relations between an Albanian citizen and the Albanian state.

The Albanian state has other serious problems, but not this one.

Which Albanian Christians? What did the Albanian state do to them?

The very same Albanian state where the Prime Minister claims to have been christened a Catholic

How? I have cousins who are Catholic no one has ever ‘trampled’ over Christians. Religion doesn’t matter in Albania no one really cares.

I mean our prime minister was baptised wasn’t he?
